Come N Get It: Eminem "Not Afraid"

Finally, the real Slim Shady has finally stood up. Thats not to say that I didn't thoroughly enjoy Relapse, however it left a little to be desired in the in content department. Fortunately for us, Marshall has been hard at work penning bars for his upcoming release Recovery. This record shows Em purging himself of the demons he's had on his shoulder while also inspiring others to face their's. With solemn production by Boi-1da "Not Afraid" definitely sets the platform for what could be a new hiphop classic. Clap for em.

Watch This: M.I.A. "Born Free"

M.I.A, Born Free from ROMAIN-GAVRAS on Vimeo.

In my opinion, there are very few descriptive words that would do this amazing video justice. Many will try, but their attempts will be in vain. In a world where shocking images are readily available people have become so numb to them that emotional reactions are a rarity. Yet somehow M.I.A. and director Romain Gavras have managed to produce something that is at once disturbingly beautiful, startling, and thought-provoking. Enjoy

Watch This: Needlz and Dawuan Parker discuss the "Maschine"

The folks over at Native Instruments have developed a piece of equipment that is taking the industry by storm. Not only is it more portable than the MPC, but according to Mr. Parker it has an array of stock sounds that are production ready. Its dope to see producers break down the science of building a track, hope this helps some of youse guys.

Watch This: Little Brother "Curtain Call"

Isn't it nice to see Phonte and Pooh together again? We've been rooting for these guys to win since they started playing the game, but recently we realized they already won a long time ago. Some folks do it for the love and while Little Brother definitely fits in that lane, they've also shown it's possible for that love to make a living. The hard work hasn't gone without notice.

Watch This: Ciara "Ride" feat. Ludacris

After trying to "evolve" for the last 2 yrs seems like CiCi finally came back to the place where we wanted her to stay from the beginning, Earth. Yeah there were a buncha chics gettin their fashion-forward on, but eye-brow raising wardrobe and weird ass makeup aint for everybody. Welcome back kiddo, hopefully you haven't alienated everyone quite yet...

On another note, this black bathing suit she is wearing is the luckiest summbitch EVER. Por dios...

Watch This: Thug Motivation 211

This is crazy. A gentlemen named Conrad Zdzierak was arrested in Florida recently for robbing banks. The kicker is that he was robbing the banks wearing a mask that looked exactly like Young Jeezy. Don't believe me? Check it for yourself.

Watch This: STS Interview on The Urban Daily

Sugar Tongue Slim-"Open Mic" from Jerry Barrow on Vimeo.

STS sits down with The Urban Daily to talk about his story, his mixtape, and his message. #demandmore Shouts to Jerry L. Barrow

Watch This: B.o.B performing "Letters From Vietnam" for Power 99

While out on the road in Philly, Bobby Ray stopped by the radio station to do an acoustic rendition of "Letters...". After watching Bob and the band rehearse this jawn at the studio a million times it is easily one of my favs off of the upcoming The Adventures of Bobby Ray hitting stores April 27th (3 days b3 my birfday hint, hint)

If you're in the NYC area Angela Yee and the good folks at Rapradar.com are puttin B.o.B and the homie STS on stage to bring at lil A-town to SOBs 2nite! Doors open at 7:30pm and showtime is 9:30pm. Its gonna be packed so be there early!

Watch This: J.Cole performs "Who Dat" at USF

Recently, young Jermaine was booked to do his 1-2 thing at the University of South Florida. During his set he did this lil number that is rumored to be his street single. Hopefully Grown Simba will have an MP3 version for us sometime this week cuz its DEF a dope record. Wonder if he produced it or No I.D.?

Watch This: Drake "Over" Video

*sigh*...First let me say I dig Aubrey Graham's music; he's a pretty witty rapper and has a decent command of lyric/melody. That being said his 2 solo videos haven't exactly been as catchy as his hooks. And to honest with you this one is just downright strange. I still listen to your records homie, not sure if i'll be watching anymore videos though...

Watch This: Vado "Large On The Streets"

VADO "LARGE ON THE STREETS" MUSIC VIDEO TRAILER DIRECTED BY ARM & WILL PU from FM15 FILMS on Vimeo.

I fux wit this kid. After listening to Cam'ron and Vado's Boss of All Bosses it was pretty clear that homie repped a NY brand of rap that we haven't seen in a while. Gritty delivery, agile wordplay, very reminiscent of Children of The Corn (Google them). In the midst of rap music evolving and expanding (which I promote wholeheartedly) its nice to see good ol fashioned street shit stick a .38 in our ribs and say "You know what time it is..."

Watch This: Donnis' "Gone" Video Trailer

Donnis - Gone [TRAILER] (Directed by BBGUN) from bbgun on Vimeo.

The homie Donnis is only a few days away from releasing his debut video for the party-til-you-can't-see-straight anthem "Gone". Directed by BB Gun (One of my personal favorite directors) this trailer definitely whets the appetite for what appears to be stellar video. Get ya weed, get ya drank, lets get it onnnnnnnn

Watch This: Old Spice x Terry Crews

Fucking. Hilarious.

Watch This: @SlimisGOLD 'Demand More 2' featured on KarmaloopTV

The homie STS recently released his newest volume of the Demand More series, Demand More 2. This release has definitely established him as an artist to pay attention to amongst the sea of rappers that have made their presence felt over the past year. The good folks at KarmaloopTV recognize this and have decided to shed light on STS in their segment called 'The Daily Loop'.
