All I Want For Christmas ... is a BIG Bottle of Henny :)

Tuesday I headed to the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead for the Moet Hennessy Holiday Preview:

I was greeted by a beautiful model who escorted me to a beautiful suite with a huge spread of breads, cheeses, fruits, hummus etc... and lots and lots and lots of liquor.

I have to give it the Moet/Hennessy marketing department because they clearly put a lot of thought into the packaging, and even came up with some inventive things like chillers for their Grand Marnier and a new mojito flavored lip balm from 10 Cane rum.

I definitely appreciated the personal attention from Moet Hennessy reps Cassondra and Trisha (who awed me with her detailed explanation of the process that goes into making a fine bottle of Glenmorangie).

So yeah, if you're stumped on what to get me this holiday season you can't go wrong with some Navan Natural Vanilla Liqueur, a Dom Perignon "Love" Gift Box or if you're feeling especially like indulging me -- the $200,000 Hennessy Beaute Du Siecle -- a literal treasure chest of alumninum and Murano glass that houses a bottle of Hennessy along with a set of cognac glasses, the Beaute du Siecle book and an original print.

In case you didn't know -- two weeks ago rainstorms left much of Metro Atlanta under water, fortunately many of the city's local celebrities are stepping up to raise money to help those affected by the floods, including DJ Infamous -- who lost his own home.

And if clubbing isn't your thing, you can bowl instead because there's another flood victim benefit being held tonight at Red Carpet lanes.

Jermaine Dupri, Nelly & V-103, along with Big Boi, Bryan-Michael Cox, Zaytoven, Devyne Stephens, Polow Da Don, Lil’ Ronnie, Nitti, Mike Bigga (formerly Killer Mike), Shawty Lo, Sammie, Rozelle, NBA superstar Derric Anderson, Grand Hustle Records and many more celebrities, athletes and entertainment professionals are among those scheduled to attend Atlanta Stand-Up: Jermaine Dupri & Nelly Charity Celebrity Bowling Tournament

So in my endless search for new music to crush on I've finally discovered The Phenomenal Handclap Band just in time for their upcoming tour alongside Simian Mobile Disco, Chromeo and Bajofondo.

PHB's self-titled album is out now on Friendly Fire Recordings. The album features TV on the Radio, Antibalas, The Dap Kings, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, L'Trimm, Calla, The Mooney Suzuki, Sí Se, and Honeycut among others.

The band recently recorded a Live at Lime session their studio home Chanel Studios, in the Lower East Side and the band and Limewire are offering a free mp3 download of "Testimony" from this session. Check out the EP complete with fan artwork, and their Limewire Featured Artist profile.
