Has Twitter Made Life Tweeter Really?

I spend more time than I'd like to admit doing what I call "polyin' and promotin'" on Twitter, but in the process I've made my workday longer, ticked off an ex or two and revealed way more than I'm comfortable with about my shopping and drinking habits, so when a friend of mine sent me this video I had to share it with you guys.

"Dude, I'm at the Free Clinic!!! UH OH!!!" Classic.

And the reaction to the fail whale is no joke either. Folks have been having massive problems with the latest version of Twitterberry over the last few days and been HEATED over their inability to tweet at will.

Personally I never thought I'd be so twitter-addicted, but nowadays, I wake up to check my @replies before I check my email so I know I'm hooked. My friends and I even jokingly call each other by our twitter handles in person, for example, "Hey Wassup @JaneeTMB?"

When I changed my Facebook status yesterday to "I wish Facebook would stop trying to be Twitter" in response to the new Facebook format which obviously mimics Twitter's "What are you doing" status update scroll -- I got IMMEDIATE responses in agreement.

As for whether my life has gotten any "tweeter" -- yes it has. I've been networking with other writer/bloggers more efficiently than ever and found searching for content much easier than my old Google search technique.

P.S. If you're a fellow twitterholic feel free to follow me at www.twitter.com/janeetmb
