Watch This: Old Spice x Terry Crews

Fucking. Hilarious.

Watch This: Rhymefest "Give It To Me"

Very dope video from Rhymefest for the single off his upcoming album "El Che". Shouts to the director Konee Rok for the socio-political cartoon montage and special effects, very nice touch sir.

Harlem Heights >>> Gossip Girl???

"Harlem Heights" Trailer - New Reality Series on BET
Uploaded by wiredset

Hmmm. I think SWP night might be getting the boot! BET has a new show Monday nights that runs at the same time as my precious Hills replacement The City, but fam loyalty (shouts to KW) definitely overrides any what-happens-next-with-Whitney-and-Jay curiosity. Besides, looks like this could get very interesting. Mondays @ 10pm on BET

:( I Missed Watching Bout The NEWBOS

Bling!Bling! Hopefully the gnomes taped it for me :)

Unauthorized Bio of MLK and Obama

:-)

Happy Birthday To Ya MLK!

Who Is Shaun Boothe?

This kid is kind of ingenious with his Unauthorized Biography series. Check the Bob Marley and James Brown also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0NZse4dEhk and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTV6fYLI8cA

Pimp By Blood

I had to laugh when my aunt sent me this YouTube video of Tina Turner... with our cousin Lynda singing backup (in the middle).

I guess bein' bad (meaning good) just runs in the family

Watch What You Watching

Amen to this song -- which I was already feeling -- and the excellent video Rik Cordero put together to go with it. Fox News is the worst, the timing is crazy with this joint, especially with all the hubbub over Jesse Jackson having mic slips and ish talkin about Obama... Anyway peep and I'll discuss further.

Gotta love the Jay Smooth cameo -- Jay Smooth is the man.

While we're on the subject of the whole Jesse/Obama/Fox debacle I have to share this blog from my dude Biko that puts a brand new spin on the whole situation. Things that make you go hmmmm right?

And just when we thought it was dead hip-hop from Nas and Killer Mike are making music to get us thinking again.

Power to the People

Spike Got Me Open - This Shit Looks Crazy

With all the hype over the beef between Clint Eastwood and Spike Lee -- make sure you haven't overlooked Spike's upcoming World War II film Miracle at St. Anna.

Black Love Rocks

just a few of my favorite images this week!

OH STELLA!

Estelle... I love this girl, loved her before I interviewed her and loved her even more afterward. She is truly a refreshing artist and it's no wonder she's already teamed up with a gang of talented individuals who've also worn the refreshing adjective so well (John Legend, Kanye West, will.i.am, Wyclef Jean, Mark Ronson)... she's a woman with her head on straight, happy to be who she is and do what she does. I will post my article on her soon but for now enjoy her two videos....

Barack Takes Iowa

WOW! Having grown up in the hawkeye state I was already well aware that Iowans love them a black man (especially if he can run, throw or catch a ball)but I had no idea he'd crush Hill and Edwards like this...
