As I was sitting around on a lazy Saturday watching movies and internetting some TITS caught my attention. As a man of the people, it was only right that I help spread the 3 minutes of joy that this video brought me. Aside from the amazing specimen that is one Miss Brittany Dailey, Estevan Oriol is a dope photographer and soundtrack for this video is all a hip-hop lover could ever want.
Last night my big sister Marsha took the stage at S.O.Bs in NY along with my brother DJ Aktive, and Johnnie "Smurph" to bless the people with her uncanny musical stylings. She performed both old and new material as well as a "freestyle" that Im sure the ladies will find entertaining (lol smh) Peep below for additional footage. Be on the look out for Marsha new album coming soon on her new home J Records.
After trying to "evolve" for the last 2 yrs seems like CiCi finally came back to the place where we wanted her to stay from the beginning, Earth. Yeah there were a buncha chics gettin their fashion-forward on, but eye-brow raising wardrobe and weird ass makeup aint for everybody. Welcome back kiddo, hopefully you haven't alienated everyone quite yet...
On another note, this black bathing suit she is wearing is the luckiest summbitch EVER. Por dios...
This is 1 of 50-11 videos that Wayne shot before he made his way to the whoscow. Is it just me or does YM not really show much love to Shanell aside from being the thick-thighed eye candy *kanye shrug*
Ima keep it one-hunned, I aint really fux with homie last album. But this seems to be the brand of Usher that we all know and love. Hopefully the new album Raymond vs Raymond won't disappoint. Oh yeah, and Noemi Lenoire is baaaad.
Here it is -- the first new material from Sade in 10 years. And it's GREAT! The title track off her upcoming lp Soldier of Love
Co-produced with Mike Pela, "Soldier of Love" was written by Sade along with longtime collaborators Andrew Hale, Stuart Matthewman and Paul Spencer Denman. The song, featuring a pulsating and anthemic drum beat along with haunting vocals that Sade is known for, is now set to hit airwaves and will kick off the countdown for Soldier of Love. Recorded in England and set for release worldwide on February 8th, Soldier of Love marks Sade’s first studio album since the multi-platinum release of Lovers Rock in 2000.
The first single “Soldier Of Love” premiered today at 7am EST on www.sade.com.
This would be funny to me if I wasn't so sick of hearing about Tiger, his 9 mistresses, sexting and his failure to use condoms. Enough already. Cheetah Woods.
I'm loving Rihanna's second single "Hard" featuring Young Jeezy, but I'm undecided on her decision to sex it up for the cover art. No hate, because Rihanna is one hot beezy -- but I don't know if this is the best look right now. Check out the song below
I've been really fighting the urge to like Taylor Swift... but I can't fight it anymore. She's won me over. Gotta love the "swift" kick in the nuts to the ex-boyfriend in her "Monologue Song (La La La)".

The good times were all in the name of a good cause. Inc. foundation (founded by celebrity DJ Beverly Bond), which was later matched by another $25,000 donation from Queen Latifah.
Bobbito Garcia. What DOESN'T this guy do? The DJ, Streetballer, Writer, Sneakerhead, TV/Radio Host is truly "The Most Interesting Man in The World" word to Dos Equis. The hiphop aficionado chops it up with my TV crush Soledad O'Brien on the CNN special Latino In America airing Oct 21 & 22 at 9pm. Miralo, entiendes?
Tambien, este es el anuncio para la programa (Im such a show off LOL)
Decon just put me up on a new singer (who is a member of the blessed family of big haired folks) Nneka. Her album CONCRETE JUNGLE is due out on Yo Mama/Decon/Epic, February 2, 2010. You can hear her song "The Uncomfortable Truth" HERE.
Sounds like homegirl has been at it for awhile, her first album Victim of Truth (released in the UK in 2007) met with plenty of praise by the British media. (‘As good as The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,’ said UK’s The Sunday Times). Her second release, No Longer At Ease, landed her on tour with Lenny Kravitz.
Nneka’s first US release, Concrete Jungle, stands as an offering of love, hope and optimism dedicated to the people of Warri & the Niger Delta of Nigeria. Holding it all together is the emotional focus of her beautiful voice, located in a place somewhere between yearning and rage.
Nneka fans number in the hundreds of thousands across two continents, as she divides her time between homes in Lagos and Hamburg, Germany. She's now set to tour the U.S. so make sure you check for her. Dates are below.
November Tour Dates: Monday, 11/9 - New York, NY - Joe’s Pub Tuesday, 11/10 - New York, NY - Highline Ballroom w/ The Roots Thursday, 11/12 - Boston, MA - Café 939 Friday, 11/13 - Philadelphia, PA - World Café Live Saturday, 11/14 - Vienna, VA - Jammin’ Java Tuesday, 11/17 - New York, NY - Highline Ballroom Thursday, 11/19 - Santa Monica, CA - Zanzibar Friday, 11/20 - San Francisco, CA - Café Du Nord
I stumbled on this old video of her too in case your curiosity is piqued.
This is amongst some of the funniest shit i've seen in a while. Gotta love Chris Rock for actually tellin the story, and props to Nia Long for takin it on the chin...er, being a good sport! LOL
Love female spitters, and Uffie is one of the most endearing and engaging voices out there right now. Plus she gets originality points for this video. Funny how I never thought of the "glock" in a certain sense until this video.
